ACE and HDM, PDM were ceiling gainers while DBM, DGT, GTH, ICI,KMT,PCT and TCO were floor losers. On this unofficial bourse, daily trading limit is 10% each side. PSB was the most active stock on a trade of 72,400 shares, which closed higher at VND11,100.
The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 88 unlisted public companies closed in the red as investors sold shares to cut losses, following the fall on the two official exchanges.
The measure lost 0.62 point, or 1.27%, to close at 48.25. The market volume fell to 264,975 shares worth VND3.55 billion.
The gauge started at a base benchmark of 100 points on June 24, 2009 but it has never been back to that level.
The market breadth was negative where 13 stocks closed higher, 30 ended lower, 3 stocks closed unmoved and 42 stocks finished without any trade.
