UPCoM-Index Sinks Second Day after 11-Day Rising Streak

The market volume fell 17% from a day earlier to 1.3 million shares worth VND21.72 billion, down 23%. HU1 was the biggest gainer, adding 10% to close at VND24,200 on a trade of 1,000 units. In the downswing, HPT was the biggest decliner, dropping 10% to VND18,000 on a trade of 10 shares.

UPCoM-Index Falls Second Day On Cautious

The market volume continued to decrease to 1.293 million shares traded for VND21.72 billion compared to 1.551 million shares traded for VND28.267 billion on July 7 as investors were cautious. Market recorded 18 stocks advanced; 22 declined; and the rest of 38 stocks closed without any trade.

UPCoM-Index Rises on 11th Day

VQC was the biggest gainer hit ceiling to close at VND50,300 with a total trading of 3,647 units. BTW was the biggest decliner, closing VND5,500 lower at VND49,900 a share on a trade of only 100 units.

UPCoM-Index Snaps Gaining Streak With Small Loss

The gauge UPCoM Index fell 0.12 point or 0.21% to close at 56.8 on July 7. The gauge started at a base benchmark of 100 points on June 24, 2009 but it has never been back to that level. The market volume also decreased to 1.551 million shares traded for VND28.267 billion compared to 2.478 million shares traded for VND44.83

UPCoM-Index Climbs Fourth Day

The market witnessed 20 stocks closing higher, seven lower, one unchanged and 48 stocks closed without any trade. The market volume rose to 674,000 shares worth VND13.1 billion. VPC was the biggest gainer, adding 10% to close at VND11,000 on a trade of 37,000 units.

UPCoM-Index Edges Up on Bargain Hunting

Market recorded 21 stocks advanced; 8 declined; 2 unchanged while the rest closed without any trade. BTW and TNB were the biggest gainers closing up VND2,600 at VND29,30 and VND29,100 respectively. DBM was the biggest decliner, losing VND2,800 to close at VND28,500 a share on a trade of 64,815 units.

The market volume increased to 939,193 shares traded for VND10.04 billion compared to 362,120 shares traded for VND6.782 billion on June 21. Market recorded 16 stocks advanced; 13 declined; 3 unchanged while the rest closed without any trade. DBM continued to be the biggest gainer, hitting ceiling at VND29,200 with 300 units traded.

The market volume fell to 362,120 shares traded for VND6.782 billion compared to 420,210 shares traded for VND8.06 billion on June 18. Market recorded 16 stocks advanced; 9 declined; 5 unchanged while the rest untraded. DBM was the biggest gainer, closing up VND2,400 to VND26,700 with 16,830 units traded.

CFC was the biggest gainer, adding 9.94% to close at VND18,000 on a trade of 10 units. In the downswing, BTC was the biggest decliner, dropping 9.83% to VND36,700 on a trade of 10 shares.API was still the most active stock on a trade of 90,000 shares, which added 4.14% to VND17,600.

The gauge UPCoM Index was up 0.1 point or 0.22% to close at 46.07. The gauge started at a base benchmark of 100 points on June 24, 2009 but it has never been back to that level. The market volume increased to 420,210 shares traded for VND8.06 billion compared to 420,210 shares traded for VND4.62 billion on June 17.
